Police are looking for a suspect who shot a man in the Bronx earlier this week near White Plains Road.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday near the 25-year-old victim's building, close to the intersection of Magenta Street and White Plains Road.
Police say the suspect is accused shooting another man in the chest with a 9 mm gun after the two got into a verbal argument.
They say the suspect has a large build with a full beard, and was last seen in a blue Yankees hat, a dark hooded jacket and blue jeans.
The NYPD says the two men did not know each other and that the suspect ran off right after pulling the trigger, without robbing the victim.
They say the victim was taken to New York City Health and Hospitals/Jacobi and is in stable condition.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to call police.
