Police: Teen accused in violent slashing of officer in Brooklyn train station

The NYPD arrested a teenager Sunday afternoon after they say he slashed an officer at the Myrtle-Willoughy Avenue G train station in Brooklyn.

The NYPD arrested a teenager Sunday afternoon after they say he slashed an officer at the Myrtle-Willoughy Avenue G train station in Brooklyn.
Police say they were pursuing the 16-year-old when he ran into the station then slashed one of the officers in the ear and injured another.
Both of the officers were treated at the hospital, and the suspect was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull.
The suspect has been charged with aggravated assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation is ongoing.
