Police: Teen dead, 4 injured in collision on Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights; 18-year-old arrested

Police say a teen is dead and four other people are injured early Sunday morning following a collision on Eastern Parkway and Rogers Avenue in Brooklyn.

Police say a teen is dead and four other people are injured early Sunday morning following a collision on Eastern Parkway and Rogers Avenue in Brooklyn.
The NYPD says around 2 a.m., an 18-year-old man was driving westbound on the Eastern Parkway in this Hyundai Sonata when he crashed into a Toyota Solaro driven by a 61-year-old woman, who was going northbound on Rogers Avenue.
Police say the 18-year-old driver was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in critical condition. He was taken into custody with charges pending.
The NYPD says an 18-year-old woman passenger in his car was killed. Two other 19-year-old passengers are in stable condition.
The 61-year-old driver was also sent to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County and is in stable condition.
Police have not released the names of the victims or the 18-year-old who is in custody.
