Police: Teen dead, another teen injured in motorcycle collision in Soundview
At least one person is dead after a pedestrian was struck in Soundview, according to police.

A teen is now dead after a motorcycle collision in Soundview, police say.
According to the NYPD, 17-year-old Alexander Juan Quizhpi-Naranjo was driving his motorcycle at the intersection of Metcalf Avenue and East 172nd Street just before 7 p.m. Monday when he collided with a Honda Odyssey. Officials say he had a 14-year-old girl as his passenger who is expected to be OK.
The driver of the minivan, a 42-year-old man, did not go to the hospital. However, police say he remained on the scene.
