A DWI crash left one person dead and others hurt Saturday night in Massapequa, according to police.

Detectives say a 19-year-old drunk driver crashed his Bentley SUV into a three-wheel slingshot motorcycle around 9 p.m.

It happened as the teen was making a right-hand turn onto Sunrise Highway from the left lane on Unqua Road.

Police say that collision made the motorcycle crash into a KIA SUV and then a utility pole.

Four children and two adults were inside the KIA, but none were injured.

The driver of the Bentley and his passenger were hospitalized with minor injuries.

Willie Singleton, a 48-year-old Bay Shore resident, was later identified as the motorcyclist.

He was pronounced dead at a hospital, according to authorities.

His 47-year-old female passenger sustained serious injuries but is listed in stable condition.

Police say Brian Romero Guy August is charged with manslaughter, assault and DWI.

The Medford resident will face a judge when medically cleared.
