Police say a teenager was stabbed Monday afternoon in Claremont.

Authorities say it happened in front of I.S. 339 on Webster Avenue around 3:30 p.m.

News 12 has learned that the victim was stabbed in the torso. The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and is expected to be OK.

Police say they're looking for a female suspect.

The Department of Education says it is working closely with the NYPD in the investigation.
