A Bronx teenager wanted for questioning in connection with the rape of an 11-year-old Morrisania girl jumped to his death, according to police.
Authorities say Seven Agusto was found dead outside of his Westchester Avenue building Monday afternoon. Agusto and his family lived on the fourth floor.
Family friends say the teen looked up toward the sky before plunging to his death from an upper-floor window.
On Oct. 14, police say the 11-year-old victim went to Hilton White Park to meet the suspect. They say Agusto asked the girl to go to a public bathroom, where he raped her and ran off.
Friends say Agusto was playing basketball at the park that day. Loved ones defended the boy, saying he didn't cause trouble and attended Bible study at one point. They would hold a candlelight vigil for him Tuesday night.
Authorities say the victim was treated at and released from Montefiore Medical Center.
