Police: Victim of fatal East New York stabbing identified as 52-year-old homeless man

Police have yet to make any arrests or release a description of the suspect.

Police have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred Thursday night in East New York.

Police say the individual they found stabbed in the chest on the corner of Belmont and Alabama avenues was 52-year-old Eric Wright, a homeless man.

Wright was rushed to a hospital, where authorities say he was pronounced dead.

Police have yet to make any arrests or release a description of the suspect.
