Norwalk police say a woman has been charged with murder after detectives unveiled a "long-standing feud" with the victim on Feb. 4.
Liliana Mejia was charged with murder and hindering prosecution.
Police say John Gavilanes was found dead in his car on Route 7.
An investigation revealed the Gavilanes had a gunshot wound in his head and bullet holes on his Nissan Rogue. Gavilanes had been romantically involved with Mejia.
Investigations led police to a Nissan dealership, where they found the car allegedly used in the crime.
Police were able to trace a Nissan Pathfinder to a male suspect.
According to police, additional arrests are expected.
