6h agoPolice say a woman was fatally shot in the East Tremont section of the Bronx Sunday.
Police responded to a call reporting that a woman was shot just after 11:30 p.m. When they arrived at 422 East 178th St., officers found Lashawn Andrews, 24, lying outside of the location unconscious and unresponsive.
Andrews had gotten into a dispute with two females, when one of the two pulled out a gun and shot her.
Andrews was discovered by first responders to have been shot in the face and was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital. She was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The investigation is ongoing.
