A woman is recovering from a gunshot wound to the head after a stray bullet came through her window.
Police tell News 12 that the woman was struck in the head just after 7 a.m. on Friday at 785 Belmont Ave. by Sheppard Avenue in East New York.
Police say it will be a “miracle” if the woman makes it out alive.
Neighbors tell News 12 that she’s a mother of two, a dog owner and that they believe that she was in her bedroom when the shots rang out.
The incident is under investigation.
