Rethink Cafe is a donation-based cafe that offers meals for $3 and pantry items for $5 - or for free if needed.
The café makes meals from unused items from restaurants, local farms and grocers. It is providing ingredients to create 200-500 meals a day for those in need.
Currently they are working with the restaurant Little Tong Noodle Shop in East Village and it plans to partner with 29 more restaurants.
