It was a stunning and terrifying moment this past week in Brooklyn as a gunman opened fire inside a subway car in Sunset Park. This scene caught on camera as commuters and smoke came rushing out from the train at the 36th Street Station.
Ten people were shot. At least 23 were injured. There were no fatalities. The suspected shooter was caught.
News 12’s Kurt Semder spoke with Councilwoman Alexa Aviles, who represents that area of Brooklyn.
Also, Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin resigned on the same day as the shooting following his arrest on bribery charges.
