Power outages in the Northeast section of the Bronx left about 2,800 households without power Thursday night.
Con Edison says they’re investigating and that the outage boundaries are from Adee Avenue, Pelham Parkway North, Laconia Avenue and Bruner Avenue.
The fire department tells News 12 that around 8 p.m. they responded to reports of wires sparking and isolated the source and found it to be originating from a transformer.
They say the incident was deemed to be an electrical emergency so they notified the utility company.
No injures were reported.
