Pastors from churches in the Bronx led a peaceful demonstration Saturday afternoon, even stopping every few blocks to pray and say a sermon.
Marchers made their way from 149th Street and Morris Avenue to Bronx Supreme Court.
"We're praying for peace, we're praying for justice,” said Nat Perez, the pastor at Focus Fellowship Church.
Also marching was NYPD Chaplain Rev. Michael Lopez and an officer from the Christian fraternal organization “Police Officers for Christ.”
"Community to us is everything,” says Rev. Lopez.
