Prisoner captured after escape from Vernon C. Bain Center correctional facility
The Department of Correction says they have recaptured a prisoner that escaped from the Vernon C. Bain Center in the Bronx Saturday.

3h agoThe Department of Correction says they have recaptured a prisoner that escaped from the Vernon C. Bain Center in the Bronx Saturday.
David Mordukhaev, 30, was reported missing around 4:35 a.m. Police were seen patrolling the roads to the facility, which was also on lockdown at the time.
Officials say he was initially arrested in Brooklyn before coming to the Bronx correctional facility.
