A group of Bronx kids has taken to the mic to host their own radio talk show.
The program is part of the McKinley Radio Rising Stars Show at McKinley After School Community Center.
The group meets three times a week to plan, review and research various hot topics to discuss over the airwaves. The show goes live every other Friday from 5 to 6 p.m. at DaMatrix Studios in Morrisania.
Rising entertainer Jaheem Sanchez, who goes by the name "Youngest in Charge," appeared on their show with a powerful message for listeners.
"Never give up on your dreams. I don't care how many times you fail, get back up. Keep doing what you want to do," says Sanchez.
