Project Pawn is hosting the grand opening of their new learning and chess center today in Soundview.

The center at 226 Soundview Ave. will be a place for students to be mentored and learn about the game of chess.

The opening will be from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. while the ribbon-cutting begins at 2:30 p.m.
