A new law could close some financial loopholes in the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund.
Advocates of the Fairness for 9/11 Family Act say it will help the first responders and families who were denied or haven’t received the money they were entitled to.
If passed, it would add $2.7 billion to the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund using money seized from groups found guilty of terrorism.
