A public advocacy group will be releasing the results of a quality of life survey Wednesday, where Bronx residents weigh in on issues affecting their community.
The group Citizens for New York City conducts the annual survey. Group officials say the goal of the survey is to let community leaders know the challenges facing Bronx neighborhoods. As a result of the study, Citizens for NYC will award grants to community groups working on the issues in the survey.
Citizens for NYC invites community groups to apply for the grants through its New Yorkers for Better Neighborhoods Program. The grants will be used toward projects that address noise pollution, traffic relief and community health and nutrition.
