Putting Green in Williamsburg brings fun and environmental education to mini golf

Summertime is made for outdoor fun and games, and miniature golf along the waterfront in Williamsburg is bringing fun and education to families.
Those looking for a little friendly, unique competition can grab a putter. Putting Green is an 18-hole climate change-themed mini golf course all focused on the challenges and solutions of climate change.
Each hole is designed by a different nonprofit, including the Billion Oyster Project and Dear Climate.
Each hole has a QR code offering players a chance to learn more about climate change topics - from composting to CO2 emissions.
Visitors will also be treated to beautiful panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline.
The course serves all styles of gatherings, including families, couples, corporate events and more. It is open seven days a week through mid-October from 12-8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Tickets for adults start at $10 while kids and seniors can get in for $5. Putters, golf balls and scorecards are included.
