Rallies supporting Israelis and Palestinians continued today throughout the city.

Two rallies in the Bronx kicked off at 3:30 p.m. One featured hundreds of students from SAR Academy, elected officials, community members and Jewish faith leaders showing support for Israel.

Organizers say the rally was also in support Rep. Ritchie Torres’ allyship for Israel and calls to end the recent spike in antisemitic violence nationwide.

A second rally on Fordham Road included residents and the Bronx Anti-War Coalition, who demanded that Rep. Ritchie Torres stop funding and supporting Israel. Organizers say the rally focused on his efforts with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
