News 12 The Bronx to Air “Rebuilding The Bronx” Weekly on Tuesday and Thursday Mornings at Starting at 5am ET.
The Bronx, New York (January 14, 2025) - News 12, the preeminent hyperlocal news source across the Tri-state area, and Optimum, the local provider of fiber internet, mobile, TV, and phone services, today announce a new partnership with Rebuilding Together NYC to support renovating homes and apartments for homeowners in need in The Bronx. News 12 will be leading the call for applications, encouraging residents who need critical renovations like updating roofs, plumbing, or bathrooms, and even making homes accessible to apply for renovations and share their stories. Applications to submit for a renovation project are open now, and viewers can submit at News12.com/RebuildingTheBronx.
Throughout 2025, Rebuilding Together NYC will be using a $5 million grant to provide these renovations for residents in The Bronx. As a trusted voice in The Bronx community, News 12 will highlight the project through targeted on-air promotion. News 12 The Bronx will also air “Rebuilding The Bronx,” segments every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the year starting at 5:00 am ET. These segments will highlight the progress of the project and spotlight the inspiring stories of families and individuals whose lives have been transformed by the program.
Throughout the year, News 12 will bring The Bronx community the critical info needed to help the borough thrive - addressing the issues that matter the most, including affordable housing, safer schools, improved streets and highways, and more.
