As the world continues to remember Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz and the anniversary of his death, a childhood friend is paying tribute to keep his memory alive. 
News 12’s Jessica Cunnington says she was recording video earlier this week at the scene where Junior was attacked, and saw a woman lighting a candle. 
The woman was lighting a candle in front of one of the murals dedicated to Junior.

Cunnington says she pulled over and discovered that the woman was a childhood friend of Junior's. 
The woman told News 12 she has been doing this for the past two years to keep his memory alive.
