A Co-Op City resident says she is having issues with her upstairs neighbor involving pigeons.
Deborah Bartelini says she has lived in Co-Op City with her mother for 50 years. She says a man living upstairs has been feeding the pigeons every day from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. for weeks.
Bartelini says she’s had to keep her windows always closed and she even puts tin foil on the windows to keep the pigeons from landing on them. But she says that doesn’t seem to stop them.
She says she fears that the pigeon droppings will cause health issues to her and her elderly mother.
News 12 spoke with someone from the Riverbay Corporation Office, and they say the bird feeder has been on their radar and that they are working to build a court case against him.
