9h agoMany people are heading to Coney Island to celebrate the holiday weekend at the beach and boardwalk.
Colorado resident Bo Earle says it is his first time visiting Coney Island.
“I can't get enough of all the sights," he said. "I'm thrilled to be here."
Brooklyn resident Nafisha Hayward says she came to relax before she has to work on July 4.
“I wish I could be out here, but I'm going to be working," Hayward said. "It's okay, I'm out here now,” she added.
Brooklyn resident Ricardo Solano is planning to spend the holiday with his grandchildren.
“Barbecue, run around the yard, things like that,” he said.
Coney Island will also have fireworks at the boardwalk at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
