Residents flood hiring fair at Sunset Park

The hiring fair was held by the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services to help give the community knowledge about available city employment.

People from across the five boroughs flocked to Sunset Park to attend a hiring fair with over 100 jobs available.  

Dozens eagerly came to speak with the many vacant jobs that New York City is actively trying to fill, learning about different careers as staff on the front lines.  

The hiring fair was held by the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services to help give the community knowledge about available city employment.  

Mayor Eric Adams was also in attendance, reminding people that the resources for better opportunities are there, and that the city’s goal is to get people hired.
