Residents in one Bronx building were left without water on one of the hottest days of the summer Tuesday.Having no water for 18 hours left residents at 1805 Crotona Avenue frustrated with the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). One resident claimed workers were sitting in the park instead of working on the problem. Officials from NYCHA, however, say they have been working to restore the water since they first heard about the problem. NYCHA officials say the problem was caused by a broken water pump. They also say while working on the problem, crews set up temporary faucets for residents to get water.
