Bronx residents were busy Friday preparing for the first snowfall of the season.
In Hunts Point, shopping bags were full of snow supplies and grocery stores were packed as people bought essentials.
Some people said they were ready to have a nice, quiet day indoors on Saturday.
News 12 caught up with Department of Sanitation crews earlier in the day as they were loading up salt and putting chains on tires. They said their fleet was ready for the weather.
Up to 4 inches of snow is expected to fall on the Bronx.
