Bronx Rep. Jose Serrano said goodbye to Capitol Hill on Saturday after 30 years in Congress.

“I will be forever grateful for your support and the opportunity to represent you. Thank you!!" he wrote on Twitter.

Serrano announced in 2019 that he would not seek re-election after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
