There is no question the holiday season is a popular time for families to see a show. This year, as audiences consider returning to live theater, there are plenty of family friendly options, whether it's on Broadway or other venues.
Twas the Night Before by
Cirque Du Soleil creates its own interpretation of the famed Christmas tale on
stage at Hulu Theatre at Madison Square Garden through Dec. 27.
Looking for a show especially for children? Off Broadway's New Victory
Theatre is home to Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas, a musical
based on the classic movie featuring Henson's puppets.
If your family is looking to
get back to Hogwarts, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child plans to resume
performances on Dec. 28 after pausing due to COVID-19 cases in the company.
But expect limited
availability for it, as well as two perennial family favorites on Broadway.
