A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at one of the newest affordable home locations in Brooklyn Monday.
Sun Rock, LLC and Shelter Rock Builders LLC partnered together to build the homes at Blake Hendrix in East New York.
The homes are set up in a way that the homeowner could live on the main floor and rent out the others. Each of the homes range from $275,000 to $400,000.
The 30 units were constructed under the city's New Infill Homeownership Opportunities Program.
The units at Blake Hendrix are already sold out, but there will be a groundbreaking on the next set of units at Lincoln Wortman next week. To find affordable housing in your neighborhood head here.
