'Rise Up NYC' monthlong concert series returns this summer

The series will present performances including rhythm and blues singer K. Michelle, Stokley, Caribbean hitmaker Farmer Nappy, renowned Hot 97 Disc Jockey Funk Flex and more.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams Friday announced the return of the Rise Up NYC concerts kicking off this summer.
Rise Up NYC will provide eight free community concerts across the five boroughs from July 19 – Aug. 20. The series will present performances including rhythm and blues singer K. Michelle, Stokley, Caribbean hitmaker Farmer Nappy, renowned Hot 97 Disc Jockey Funk Flex and more.
The first concert will begin at Wingate Park in Brooklyn with more details below:
  • Wingate Park, Brooklyn - Brooklyn Avenue between Winthrop Street and Rutland Road - Wednesday, July 19 , Thursday, July 20
  • Midland Beach Parking Lot 8, Staten Island - Father Capodanno Boulevard and Hunter Avenue - Thursday, July 27
  • Orchard Beach, Bronx - One Orchard Beach Road - Thursday, Aug. 10
  • Roy Wilkins Park, Queens - Merrick Boulevard and Baisley Boulevard - Wednesday, Aug. 16 , Thursday, Aug. 17
  • St. Nicholas Park, Manhattan - West 135th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue - Saturday, Aug. 19 , Sunday, Aug. 20
