Riverdale home to be studied further for possible historic ties

A home on the campus of The Hebrew Home of Riverdale will be studied by the city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission.
It comes after plans for the home to be demolished have been delayed, agreed upon by The Hebrew Home of Riverdale, after the Kingsbridge Historical Society learned of the possible ties dating back to the American Revolution.

The agreement to delay demolition of the home stretches until Jan. 1, 2025.
