While some New Yorkers are out trick or treating today, others will be holding an early celebration of Dia de Los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead.

While some New Yorkers are out trick or treating today, others will be holding an early celebration of Dia de Los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead.
The cultural Mexican holiday is usually observed on Nov. 1-2. Dia de Los Muertos is celebrated in cultures around the world but especially in Mexico where families honored their loved ones who have passed away.
