Road crews in the Bronx prepare for nor’easter

Road crews have the salt spreaders and plows ready for today’s nor’easter that could drop up to 12 inches in the Bronx.

Road crews have the salt spreaders and plows ready for today’s nor’easter that could drop up to 12 inches in the Bronx.
In Castle Hill, trucks were already out salting the streets. Once there is at least two inches on the ground, the plows will be deployed.
Sanitation crews were also out on Fordham Road in the Bronx.
Alternate side of the street parking has been suspended, but on Thursday drivers will have to pay the meters.
Mayor Bill de Blasio urges drivers to stay off the roads so crews can keep the streets clean.
