Runners, bikers hit Prospect Park to take advantage of mild temps
It doesn’t quite feel like Jan. 2, and runners and cyclists are taking advantage across the city.
At Prospect Park, green spaces and walkways were filled with people Monday taking in the temps that reached the 50s.
"I'd probably, normally, would be at the gym but global warming has made it so that it's abnormally warm so yeah, I'll take advantage of being outside,” said Ruthie Dreyer.
While temps will remain a bit unseasonable this week, rain is in the forecast for the coming days, so Monday might be the only dry day to get out into the park.
