Sacred Heart Academy has announced they have chosen a new principal.
Maria Pozzulo Hecht will be leading the Catholic high school in Hempstead starting next month.
Hecht will replace Sister Jean Amore, who served as principal since 2018.
Previously, Hecht was the principal of Floral Park Memorial High School and assistant principal of New Hyde Park Memorial High School.
