? Parents with students at the Bronx High School for the Visual Arts are worried overcrowding is adversely affecting students.
The Bronx school allowed two other schools, Sports Professions High School and New World Academy, to use space in the building in 2004. Parents and teachers say that temporary agreement has gone on for too long, forcing students to make do with limited resources. School officials also cite safety violations with 850 people - 300 more than allowed - in the building. Sports Professions High School was supposed to move into another location until its permanent building is completed in 2008, but a community board voted down the move.
Parents and educators hoped to get answers at a meeting Thursday. They also want the Board of Education will step in.
