A couple who make homemade treats for dogs were in the giving spirit this holiday season.

Ira Reiter and his wife Hillary own "The Barking Biscuit." This year, Ira Reiter dressed up as Santa and delivered their biscuits to pups in the neighborhood.

Treats were also given to the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter and Last Hope Shelter. K-9s at Nassau County's 1st Precinct in Baldwin also got some free treats.

Ira and Hillary Reiter say it was rewarding and are looking forward to doing it again next year.
