Original story below:
The search in Florida for Brian Laundrie was called off late last night, but investigators are expected to be back later this morning to search a vast wildlife preserve in Sarasota County.
Laundrie, who met Gabby at Blue Point Bayport High School, is a "person of interest" in her disappearance.
Laundrie was the last person known to have been with her before she went missing, according to the authorities.
Laundrie's parents reported to police that they had not seen him since Sept. 14, several days after he refused to speak with investigators about Gabby’s whereabouts.
North Port police, the FBI, and several other agencies have been scouring the creek searching for Laundrie for days.
