A fire tore through several businesses on White Plains Road in Wakefield overnight, causing significant smoke and water damage.
The FDNY says the fire broke out around midnight on 4122 White Plains Road.
At least half a dozen business were shut down after the fire. Con Edison tells News 12 that power was restored to the strip of stores.
The Department of Buildings placed a vacate order for the deli at 4122 White Plains Road. No injuries were reported, and the cause is under investigation.
