A Sewanhaka High School teacher pleaded not guilty to submitting a fake COVID-19 vaccination card.
Prosecutors say Tricia Manno submitted a forged vaccine card to avoid the school district's mandatory testing policy.
They say the district found out the card was fake and asked her for the original.
The 47-year-old Lindenhurst woman went to the Northport VA Medical Center and illegally obtained a replacement card.
She faces several charges, including a felony.
Manno could serve up to seven years in prison if convicted.
