The Shoot for the Stars Foundation, founded by late rapper Pop Smoke, closed out their three-day charity event Saturday.
Audrey Jackson, his mother, says she wants everyone to know that they too can shoot for the stars - a message that she hopes to share as she continues the work of his foundation.
She says her foundation is a sacred space, where many can come and talk about what's on their mind. She says this is her assignment that her late son, Bashar Jackson, left her to do.
She says this is only the beginning, and that the foundation will be holding a Pop Smoke Day event that will include basketball tournaments.
