A universe of slime for kids, families and even adults to play with and let go is based in lower Manhattan.
The Sloomoo Institute in Soho is a sensory-overload, hands-on, immersive slime experience. The idea is the brainchild of Sara Schiller and Karen Robinovitz, who knew they had to bring slime's mental and physical health benefits and fun factor to the world.
The institute makes 500 gallons of slime a day, enough to get elbow-deep in and even to walk on a 250-gallon slime lake.
Everyone that comes through the Sloomoo Institute gets to make their own slime with over 4 million combinations possible. Guests can choose the texture, scent, color and even add cute charms.
Timed tickets are available online. The Sloomoo Institute also offers virtual classes and plans to open more locations across the country.
