A small gas explosion blew out a door and shattered glass windows of a home in the Bronx.
The incident happened at 287 West 234th St. in Kingsbridge around 5:15 p.m. Thursday.
Police say the home is located on the same block where a gas explosion at an alleged marijuana grow house killed an FDNY fire chief last year.
Fire officials say the explosion happened inside of the kitchen.
In Sept. 2016, Chief Michael Fahy died as a result of injuries while responding to a gas explosion at a home just yards away from last night's explosion.
Two men were indicted on manslaughter charges in connection to Fahy's death.
Police say the men were operating a marijuana grow house inside the home.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of Thursday's explosion.
No one was injured, officials say.
