Roads appeared clear Monday during the evening commute, despite a day's worth of snowfall in the Bronx.
Although visibility remained low after the snow stopped falling, there was little accumulation on the ground.
Officials say main roads had been salted and prepped before the 5 p.m. rush, and a winter weather warning expired at 6 p.m.
Forecasts show more snow overnight and again on Tuesday and Wednesday.
