Some New York City residents are still without power from a storm that hit the region on Christmas Eve.
More than 2,000 Bronx residents were without power at one point when heavy winds and rain ravaged the borough. About 500 Brooklyn residents also woke up without lights on Christmas Day.
Con Edison told News 12 that 95% of the Bronx would have their power back by 11 pm. Friday, but some customers are still without power.
A crew was at Fenton Avenue and Hicks Street Saturday to restore power to at least three homes, according the utility company's outage map.
ConEd hit service lines that provide power to the most customers first before hitting smaller groups and individual customers without power.
One Bronx resident tells News 12 he just lost power Saturday as temperatures begin to get cold.
"I am starting to feel it now but thank God the heat was on before this happened," says Gani Abdul. "While these crews work, we can manage."
According to the outage map, power will be back for residents by today.
