Wednesday marks National Puppy Day. Steven Toledo and his husband Renzo Pereda celebrated by socializing with puppies at their business, Bronx Barx.

“Socialization is key to a happy and healthy relationship with your dogs," said Toledo. 

Toledo says that whether you are purchasing a new dog or adopting, new puppy owners should make sure they find a dog that matches their lifestyle.

 "It's understanding what you're looking for in a puppy and what you're capable of providing your puppy," said Toledo.
