An artist from Spain has come to the Bronx to paint Manhattan for an expo later this month.
Delio Sanchez has visited New York twice in the past three years.
He's staying in a 17-story apartment building with a view of Manhattan to work on the 20th painting for his expo, "Delio Sanchez Comes to New York."
He says his paintings focus on lighting, especially at sunrise and sunset, but also feature the hustle and bustle of city life -- and jazz.
"The lighting is magical," Sanchez says of New York. "It's just like how the lights play with the buildings, converting them into something you would see in a dream."
The expo opens Saturday, Aug. 22 in Manhattan.
